I remember a time when Saturdays were my ‘down time’. Real downtime! Read a book, take a swim, have a shop!! What do we do when we don’t have the opportunity to have these days anymore?
We make time! Take time! It may be slightly different to how it used to be. A 10 min cuppa in the garden before the madness starts, an extra 10mins on the school run to stop & enjoy your favourite spot. Maybe take 30mins out of your lunch break & just find a quiet spot & just be?
Book a massage? Just 30mins can reduce our stress levels!
Whatever we need to do to make sure we are kind to ourselves. Things change & we adapt.
Look after yourself & things are always a little easier to manage!
